Baked Tempeh
 
    
  
Ingredients
~ 1 package of tempeh 
~ tamari, bragg's aminos, or light sodium soy sauce 
~ rice vinegar 
~ maple syrup 
~ olive oil 
~ hot sauce (I love Siete brand)
Instructions
~ preheat oven to 425 deg F 
~ chop tempeh into 1 inch cubes 
~ steam it for 10 min 
~ in a big ziplock baggie, mix together the marinade to taste (all other ingredients listed above…be gentle with the maple syrup haha) 
~ place steamed tempeh in the marinade ziplock for +/- 30 min 
~ spread the marinated cubes on a parchment lined baking sheet & bake for 10 min 
~ after 10 min, brush more of the marinade over the cubes & bake for another 10 min until charred around the edges
Notes
Delicious on salads, with varying whole grains, added to any warm veggie … it’s really versatile in my opinion!
