The best second chance we get.

Injury is a chance to do things differently.

I’m really good at compartmentalizing hurt and physical pain. The to-do list remains & is ever expanding, so … carry-on.

Injury is a chance to do things differently.

Like you would with your spouse, kids, best friend. You tend to their injury, do your stuff, check several times a day back in with them, do your stuff, tend extra lovingly to them at the end of the day up until you tuck them in … tell them it’s healing & you’re in it with them, etc …

 Ok, so … now you.

Do your stuff. Yet … do your healing differently, as you would literally everyone / anyone else besides you. Shift the narrative and see how much more easily, swiftly your body comes into its constantly intended, self-regulation, homeostasis, grounding, and strength.

Give “you” a chance to prove how truly epic your caretaking skills really are ... the skills you’ve shown time and again that work wonders for everyone else in your life (pets included 🤍)
