Do you feel stuck in processed food or “boring salad-land”?
I was vegetarian/plant-based for decades, and quite unhealthy.
I ate processed stuff that I thought was easy.
Packaged things I thought were quick.
A lot of meat substitutes.
And so many other things like that, simply because I didn’t know what else to eat.
I was never extremely overweight, but I have been considerably heavier than I am now.
And a lot of that was inflammation, bloating, and other things going on in my body that were being magnified by not only my lifestyle … but clearly also what I was choosing to eat.
In all honesty, I was trying!
I really was.
Every time I learned something, I tried to implement it.
I’m a very good student … but we can all be good students.
It just really matters who (and what) we’re learning from.
The more I started understanding what was actually in those boxes and packaged foods … the more it became clear that that was a main source of my health issues.
Eating plant-based, vegetarian, or vegan doesn’t have to be complicated, time-consuming, expensive, overly processed, supplement-heavy … or living in salad-land 24/7.
It can actually be simple.
Quick.
Delicious.
Nourishing.
And noticeably less expensive when you find your balance with real foods … and what your body genuinely thrives on.
Here’s a comment someone left me back in August 2021 on this same topic 🫶🏼
“I went through eating all of the packaged frozen portion controlled food, & making what I used to think were very “healthy” meals, all of which led me to frequently overeat, feel physically & emotionally worse, and in some cases actually gain weight … and that also added lack of confidence and feeling insecure in my body & food choices”
You’re not the only one who’s experienced this.
I’d love to hear from you … let's message on Instagram or email me! [email protected]
