Yield: 12 pieces

~ 1 cup raw oats (GF if necessary) or oat flour*
~ 3/4 cup dutch processed cocoa powder or cacao powder
~ 1 tsp baking soda
~ pinch sea salt

~ 1 cup sweet potato purée or pure pumpkin puree
~ 1/3 cup all natural peanut butter or any other raw nut/seed butter
~ 1/2 cup pure maple syrup v~ 1/4 cup unsweetened plant-based milk

~ 2 tbsp peanut butter or nut/seed butter
~ 1 tbsp pure maple syrup
~ microwave for 30 seconds
~ add a small amount of unsweetened plant-based milk to thin it out to the consistency you want

~ preheat oven to 350°F & line a 8×8 pan with parchment paper, set aside
~ add all dry ingredients to a blender & blend until a powder is formed
~ add the wet ingredients & blend again until smooth
~ pour batter into prepared 8×8 pan & spread evenly
~ make the glaze, then drizzle over the top of the brownies & swirl it around with a knife making a pretty design
~ bake for 40-45 minutes (toothpick will come out dirty, but it will feel firm)
~ let cool in the pan before removing & cutting into 12 pieces

*if you’re using oat flour you can skip the blender and mix everything in a bowl by hand
